Placement Donation Policy
At Prison City Bloodhounds, we are deeply committed to making our trained Search & Rescue (SAR) bloodhounds accessible to those who need them most—especially in communities with limited resources.

We offer a tiered donation policy to ensure fairness while covering a portion of the substantial cost involved in breeding, raising, training, and caring for these elite working dogs.
Placement Tiers:
-
Small Rural Communities
100% Donation
We fully donate dogs to small, underfunded rural departments in need of SAR support. -
Mid-Grade Rural / Small City Departments
Suggested Donation: $300
Paid directly to our veterinarian, food supplier, or organization. -
Large Rural / Mid-Size City Departments
Suggested Donation: $600 -
Large City Departments
Suggested Donation: $900

These donation levels help offset costs and allow us to continue training and placing more life-saving K-9s where they are needed most.
Pet Companion Policy
Some puppies may not meet the high-performance standards required for Search & Rescue work. These pups are still incredible companions and will be available for adoption as pets.
-
Companion Bloodhound Adoption Fee: $1,200
This helps ensure that each dog, regardless of placement, receives the highest quality care and finds a loving home.
